Our capital
Hi!
My name is Masha. I want
to tell you about the main symbol of Russia .
The symbol of Moscow and Russia
is Red square . It
is the heart of Russia and it
is well known all over the world. Red
square is famous for Spasskaya Tower
and the clock chimes. Red square
is full of tourists every day.
They take
photos, enjoy the sights and walk along
the square. There is a big skating
rink in Red square in winter. In
December and in January there is a
great and a colorful New Year tree
in the centre of the square.
Different
parades and festivals take place in the
square. Everyone can take part in these
events.

Christmas fun!
Hello! I am
Yegor. In the end of December our English Club prepared the performance about
Christmas in the UK .
We introduced Christmas traditions and Christmas characters to the pupils from
Primary school. It was very interesting. In this performance I was an elf. I
had to calm down crazy Rudolph in this play. My classmate Ilya was a very funny Rudolph. Do
you like to take part in school performances?

The most popular holiday in Russia is New Year .People celebrate it on the 1st
of January .There are a lot of traditions connected with New Year .Most
families decorate their houses with New year tree, buy gifts for all members of
the family and for their friends, and send lots of New Year’s cards .
